Drag Race RuCap - #MorningBitches

So Aja was blatant in her disgust that Valentina had one of the top looks (last week, not this week). And Alexis agreed. I have to say that I agree as well. I said it before and I'll say it again...it was a bathing suit with some tuille to make puffy sleeves. There was much design put into the design challenge. And her Baby Jane reject wig was laughable. It was just a pile of curls sitting on top of her head. But I digress. And Valentina doensn't care...she just gonna do her thang.

Cucu is excited that she made it to the 4th episode. Technically she is correct. But she wasn't really on the first episode. So this is only her third episode. And she got kicked off on the third episode of her season. So I know that I was kind of hoping she would once again get the boot. She just annoys me to no end.

The challenge this week is rival talk shows (and another team challenge). #MorningBitches You will also notice that Ru called it "this week's challenge" and not the maxi-challenge. I really hope this doesn't mean that there will be no mini-challenges this season. That would make me very sad. Because that would mean that we won't get to go to the library...or play with puppets. And that would be a very bad thing for the show.

Since Trinity won last week, she will be a captain. And since Aja didn't have to go home, she will be the other captain. Team Aja is Valentina (huh?), Shea, Sasha, Alexis and Farrah (because she needs some fish on her team)...and they are on the show Good Morning Bitches Team Trinity is Peppermint, Charlie, Cucu, Eureka (what?) and Nina (picked last on the playground)...and they are on the show Not on Today. And as an extra added challenge, the shows will air live. I was very confused as to what that meant. But it became clear later that they just won't get second, third or fourth takes...only one chance to shine.

We get to see a lot of Team Trinity...and none of Team Aja. However, you can watch clips of them talking about their teams and strategies with Ru online...I saw them on Facebook.

TEAM AJA http://www.logotv.com/video-clips/olhqss/rupauls-drag-race-ru-talks-about-characters?xrs=synd_facebook_rpdr

TEAM TRINITY http://www.logotv.com/video-clips/5qebk5/rupauls-drag-race-ru-talks-workplace-chemistry?xrs=synd_facebook_rpdr

Back to Team Trinity. LOTS OF DRAMA, as expected. Mainly between rival "beauty" queens, Trinity and Eureka. Trinity doesn't want Nina to get in her head about being picked last. And I didn't even realize it had affected her at all until Trinity said that. It was weird. But apparently Nina was a little weird about it. Eureka wants the team to be "ghetto." And Peppermint threw some confessional shade by saying that Eureka has a "big personality." And Trinity makes a really stupid rule that everyone must raise their hand to talk, which Eureka does at one point and doesn't get acknowledged by Trinity so she makes a big stink about raising her hand and following the rules....blah blah blah blah blah. Trinity decides to just pass out roles because she knows best. She and Peppermint will be the co-hosts, Charlie and Cucu will be the enter-taint-ment segment and Eureka and Nina will be the DIY segment (because Nina is great at creating things out of paper). If Aja had been on this team, you could have called them Team Disastah. They break up into groups to figure out their parts. Charlie doesn't want to be known only as an impersonator...and Cucu can't speak English.

On with the shows...

GOOD MORNING BITCHES Farrah and Alexis are the co-hosts. Farrah really looked amazing. And Alexis wore a smock with a really ugly wig. But their banter together was good. The toe-nail bit was funny, but gross. Aja is still a mess. And Valentina looked terrible too. That wig she had on was like the $8 wigs I buy on Amazon. She did not even bother to style it. She took it out of the bag and threw it on her head. Their segment was dumb too. Sasha looked crazy, but good. Shea too. But they were so good together. The chemistry was spot on. The segment was hysterical. I loved every moment of it...and so did everyone else in the room. So good. The celebrity interview with Naya Rivera was actually good. They all chatted with her. They asked her good questions. She was having fun. And she even said it was the best show on television. And I agree. I would watch this show all the time.

NOT ON TODAY Trinity's wig was so distracting. I know Southern girls like big hair, but this was just too much of a bad thing. Peppermint looked cute. They tried to do a bit about Peppermint sleeping with Trinity's husband, but the subtext was just awkward and didn't work for them. They were talking about things in their purse and instead of pulling something out of her purse, Peppermint pulled out a business card from her bra. It's the little things like that that make me crazy. Then Peppermint tripped over a bunch of lines. It's 2 piece and a biscuit, girl. Everyone knows that. Charlie and Cucu were awful together. But we knew that from seeing them in the work room together. They seemed uncomfortable together...and it made it hard to watch. And Cucu's dress was coo-coo...so ugly. Trinity was doing some crazy facial exercises at one point. Nina and Eureka were the saving grace of this group. Nina's wig was everything. And when the hottie on the panel referred to her look as Lady Chablis, I almost wet myself. Nina proved that being picked last didn't really effect her too much. She was flawless. And when Eureka just started eating everything, it was pretty much perfect. The celebrity interview with Naya didn't go so well either. Charlie didn't let her finish her answer to one question. And then no one was paying attention to the show ending. There was what seemed like endless silence. So Naya kept talking about the last question. And still nothing. So Charlie ended the whole segment abruptly, which was not her job at all. But no one else was paying any attention to the monitor apparently. If Charlie had ended the segment with a little more grace, she could have been the savior of the team. But because it was so abrupt, it just came off as bad. And Naya was probably the most confused up there...not knowing whether she should leave or not.

Back in the workroom, Aja apologized to Valentina...and painted some weird, dark brown unibrow all the way across her forehead. Valentina accepted her apology, but said that doing her make up was more important right now. Charlie and Cucu have a chat about AIDS. Cucu is a counselor for people who are newly diagnosed with HIV. And then Charlie gave a history lesson on the AIDS epidemic in the 80's and early 90's. Sasha once again because the voice of reason among the girls by stating how devastating the crisis was and that we lost so many creative voices and artists to this disease.

Eureka then made a very distasteful joke about eating disorders...and defended herself by saying that she makes jokes to lighten the mood. Sasha ripped into her, but then apologized for her tone. Eureka then apologized that Sasha took it wrong way. She's so passive-aggressive. But doesn't want to be painted as a "bad" person...too late, hunty!! Valentina suggests that everyone just focus on their make-up (that seems to be a theme for her)...and on the runway.

Runway is #NaughtyNighties (because everything on Drag Race now is a hash-tag). Ru continues to look bad on the runway this season. She really needs to get Matthu Anderson back quick to do her hair and make-up. Raven and Delta Werk are not doing her any favors. There's a super hot guy on the judging panel this week in Jeffrey Boyer-Chapmen from "Unreal." And Naya Rivera is back too.

RUNWAY LOOKS I have nothing to say about them, because they went by so fast that I didn't really see them. We got no "witty" jokes from the judges and no running commentary from the queens. Just a very quick look at them on the runway, not even of them walking the runway. It was really weird. However, you can watch them all here. http://www.logotv.com/video-clips/vodgkq/rupauls-drag-race-runway-looks-good-morning-bitches?xrs=synd_facebook_rpdr

Shea and Sasha were our double winners this week...Ru didn't even waste time to say that their team won. They each won $1,000 and a year's supply of burgers from Hamburger Mary's. YAAAASSSSS!!! That's my kind of prize. Of course, Sasha is vegetarian. The rest of the team is all safe because they won the challenge.

The judges then talk to the losing team. They are all read by the judges. Then they are asked who should be going home. Here's their thoughts: Trinity picks Charlie (because she's friends with Peppermint) Peppermint picks Charlie (because she not gonna pick herself) Charlie picks Peppermint (because she is right) Cucu picks Peppermint (because Charlie told her to, just like in the challenge) Eureka picks Trinity (for not being a good leader...and Trinity has a melt down) Nina picks Trinity (for the same reasons)

JUMPING TO UNTUCKED I hope you are all watching Untucked. It is actually better than the show. So much good stuff goes on back there. So go watch it now if you haven't seen it yet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y0F_JE-dSxg

OK...welcome back. This week's episode starts with them ripping off Kimora's name on a piece of tape. So there is no drink for her this week. Sasha is very excited as she's walking off the stage. I would be too, but because I would have won all those burgers. Aja started talking about her beauty issues...mainly about her skin issues. They all told her that she looked beautiful this time. I'm going to beg to differ. Her make-up is still bad. And she doesn't know how to paint her lips. The line is always an inch above her actual lip.

They discuss who they think will be lip-syncing tonight. But they only have the runway to go off of because they didn't get to watch each other's episode. They all agree that Peppermint was a mess on the runway. And they think Trinity because she was the team leader and they overheard people calling her a dictator in the workroom. Valentina had nothing to say. She just smiled and nodded the whole time. Maybe she was confused because she wasn't in the top this week.

The losing team arrives...and the fighting begins between Eureka and Trinity. Here's my version of their fight. Shade shade shade shade shady shade shady shade. That's basically what they said...yelling random words in between. Then Trinity walked out...because of her tuck. She never really elaborated on what was going on with it.

Nina laid down...and then couldn't get back up.

Trinity came back with her tuck in tact...and this time Eureka walked out. Oh the shade of it all. Someone asked Trinity about being a dictator. But Trinity defended herself by saying "that's what a leader does." Hey...did she vote for Trump? Aja tries to offer Trinity some advice about relaxing before the lip sync. But Trinity don't wanna hear it. Charlie announces to the camera that she doesn't lip sync, so if she's in the bottom, she'll be going home. And Trinity just says, "this is what I do, I am a performer."

Here's my review of the looks (as seen in Untucked): Sasha - stunning, good hair, great outfit with pasties Alexis - terrible, I think she stole that robe from Bea Arthur on the Golden Girls, her bustier was good, but the trunks were not a good fit Farrah - beautiful, probably the best of the night, feather extravaganza Aja - still a mess, she had fringe on the giant vagina nightie Shea - gorgeous, loved the short, blond curls Valentina - very predictable for her already, but looked good as usual Trinity - way too much hair, and her outfit looked like a store-bought costume Peppermint - the worst on the runway, with her little poop sack in the back Charlie - looked great, a close 2nd best look of the night Eureka - she just came from her photo shoot of Juggs magazine and I hated it Cucu - boring, tried to steal Valentina's Linda Evangelista look just as a hooker Nina - totally boob-alicious and I loved it, the skull painting was unexpected and brilliant

Back to the runway... Nina had a mini-break down for no apparent reason. I was confused by it. As was everyone else in the room. Trinity and Charlie were put up for elimination. So sad...and so wrong. Peppermint was way worse to me...she failed at the challenge and the runway. Charlie only messed up the challenge.

They have to lip sync to Brittany Spears' "I Wanna Go." Really? The song is perfect for Trinity...and immediately spells doom for Charlie. But doesn't matter because Charlie didn't even try. So disappointing. Trinity gave a great performance. But she did a little too much for my liking. She pulled out every trick that she could have. And that's what I'm not a fan of. If you do more than 2 tricks, it's too much. Save a little for next time...because you will be back in the bottom, bitch.

The girls from them back tried to get Charlie to do anything, but she just stood them and mouthed the words (sort of). It was painful to see. I love Charlie. I've seen her live and her show was amazing. But it's hard to support a queen who doesn't even try. You are on drag race...where there is a lip sync every week. You claim you only sing live...then fucking sing along with the song and perform it. It works just the same.

So obviously, Trinity gets to stay...and Charlie has to go.

I don't know if anyone has noticed this, but at the end of every show Eureka has to be the last one off the stage and then she peeks her head out to wave. It's making me crazy!!! Girl, you get enough air time on the show that you don't need to be doing that.

Charlie's exit: She admitted that she doesn't really have a killer instinct. But you don't have to have that. You just have to play the game. She tells us that she would have done Joan Rivers during Snatch Game...and I think it would have been amazing. She got letters from all the girls. And she was surprised that Aja has really neat writing. I'm not gonna lie, that is surprising to me too. Maybe she should work on her make-up instead of practicing her penmanship. She showed off some of her gorgeous gowns, all of which she made herself (her husband did all the beading). Then she walked out in a robe, a crazy zebra-striped fedora and flip-flops. I also heard that she cracked a rib during the cheerleading challenge and that she was in pain and needed to go home. But that's just a rumor that's floating around...and is not confirmed.

My theory was that if they brought back a queen during the season, it would be Charlie (specifically for Snatch Game). However, since she told us what character she would be doing, it's probably not going to happen. Oh well...I wouldn't want to have to watch her lip sync again anyway.

It's the Kardashian musical this week. I hope they sing live. And will Alexis prove that she really is a theater queen...or will she tank at it and be sent home. Time will tell. Here's a sneak peek...and based on their hats in the promo, I think there's going to be a mini-challenge this week. YAY!!! https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=10154534718142828&id=34598893854&_rdr
